Risdon supplies primary packaging components to the cosmetics industry including fragrance and cosmetics caps and closures, compacts, mascaras, lipsticks and lip-gloss. The company has eight manufacturing facilities in North America and Asia: Middletown, New York; Watertown, Connecticut; Laconia, New Hampshire; Barrie, Ontario; two in Reynosa, Mexico, and two in China. Besides its Watertown headquarters, Risdon has a corporate development office in Shanghai, China, and a Sales office in Paris, France.

Risdon's customer base includes all of the major cosmetics companies, such as Avon, Bourjois, Chanel, Clarins, Coty, Elizabeth Arden, Estée Lauder Group, Jafra, Liz Claiborne, L'Oréal, LVMH, Mary Kay, P.P.R ., Procter & Gamble, Puig, Revlon, Shiseido, and Unilever Cosmetics International.

Risdon manufactures plastic and metal packaging for the fragrance, color and treatment markets including cosmetic and fragrance caps, lipsticks, mascaras, flocked-tip applicators and compacts. Risdon's innovative designs include Color Pour decorating technique, ColorTouch® elevating lipstick mechanism, ColorFix® foundation stick, ColorSeal® airtight lipstick, and Mixing Mascara®, a patented system to keep mascara fresh and supple.

Specialized Services

Risdon's technologies incorporate the latest engineering advances in deep draw metal forming and finishing (high and low purity aluminum, brass and steel), injection molding and blow molding, brush making, and high speed automated assembly. Customized processes include electroplating on plastics, vacuum metallizing, buffing, conventional and UV lacquering, silver plating, hot stamping, silk screening, and Tampo printing.
